FAQs: Controller-USB/SCORBASE Support for 12V Peripheral Devices


Can Controller-USB operate the older 12V peripheral devices that we used with the SCORBOT-ER III robot?

In response to customer requests, Intelitek has prepared a service pack for SCORBASE that enables support for 12 V accessories.


What are the 12V robot accessories that are supported by this update?

The service pack provides support for the following peripheral devices

  • Rotary table 12V (orange)
  • Conveyor belt 12V (orange)
  • Motor kit 12V (127.7:1)


Which version of SCORBASE is required to support 12V accessories?

You need SCORBASE for SCORBOT-ER 4u version 4.9.1 or later.


Does the service pack work with RoboCell?

No, these accessories are not supported by RoboCell.


How can I receive the update files?

Contact technical support through the Intelitek website and request the update files for Controller-USB.
Be sure to tell us the interface language you are using (e.g., English, Spanish, etc.).
You will receive the service pack by email.


How do I install the update files?

Do the following:

  1. Make sure SCORBASE is closed.
  2. Copy the INI files to the folder: C:\Program Files\Intelitek\SCORBASE\Par\Er4u\$Default
  3. Copy the file(s) SCBS1.XXX to the folder c:\Program Files\Intelitek\SCORBASE \BIN\ (where XXX is the filename extension that indicates the interface language).
  4. Activate SCORBASE.
  5. From the Options menu, select Hardware Setup, and select the accessories you want to configure in your robotic workcell.
