Liran Eshed leads Eshed’s operations across North America, with over 20 years of experience in the diamond, emerald, and fine jewelry industry. He is responsible for rough diamond sourcing, manufacturing, digital infrastructure, and the development of Eshed’s high jewelry division.

Based in New York City, Liran manages Eshed’s U.S. presence through Eshed Diam Inc., a registered AGTA member, and works closely with leading retailers, jewelry brands, and manufacturers across the continent. He ensures full alignment between sourcing, production, and evolving market demands.

As Head of Rough and Manufacturing, Liran oversees all rough diamond acquisitions from key sources in Africa and manages the cutting and polishing process in Israel. He is responsible for the planning, selection, and yield optimization of large, high-value rough, ensuring both quality and commercial precision. Liran is a member of the Israeli Diamond Exchange (IDE) and the International Colored Gemstone Association (ICA).

He also led the company’s digital transformation, directing the creation of eshed.com — now featuring one of the largest self-owned online inventories of certified emeralds in the world. The platform serves jewelers, dealers, and retailers with real-time access to high-value gemstones in a transparent and efficient format.

In addition, Liran expanded the company’s high jewelry department, developing curated collections that reflect Eshed’s core strengths in fine emeralds and large diamonds.

Earlier in his career, Liran operated JerusalemOnline, which became the largest English-language Israeli video news site, reaching millions of viewers before its successful sale.

He is a licensed attorney and holds degrees in Accounting and Business Management from Reichman University, bringing a multidisciplinary approach to sourcing, compliance, digital innovation, and international trade.
